Uber needed real-time ride-matching infrastructure to connect drivers and riders across 70+ countries, process millions of rides daily, handle payment processing, and provide real-time tracking.

Solution

Built on AWS using DynamoDB for real-time data, Kinesis for streaming data processing, EC2 for compute workloads, and implemented global infrastructure for low-latency ride matching and tracking.
